“It’s unbelievable. It’s going to be a close game and hopefully we’ve got enough in the tank to get there,” the Bulldogs’ fan said on Sunday
The Bulldogs, who’s only flag came in 1954, play Sydney Swans at the MCG, in their first grand final appearance since 1961.
Only 30,000 tickets are reserved for competing club members – 15,000 tickets each for the 39,459 Western Bulldogs and 56,000 Sydney Swans members.
A convoy of buses carrying Bulldogs fans stopped in Wodonga early Saturday morning when the city hosted the supporters for breakfast while making the trek to Homebush.
Coach Luke Beveridge chipped in $10 a head for breakfast, not that he needed to win any points from the loyal fans, after having the club just four quarters away from its first flag since 1954.
“Luke Beverage has turned the club right around,” Mr Dunn said.
”He chipped in for brekky and wrote them a letter and thanked them for travelling up to support the team, he’s a top bloke.”
