October is Senior Celebrations month in Wodonga and Ruth Kernaghan, estate manager from Wodonga Gardens Retirement Estate, has planned a couple of events inviting the general public to attend.
Celebrations will kick off with a stylish fashion parade on Tuesday, October 11 from 2.30pm.
Guests will enjoy a chic affair featuring clothing and accessories from Albury fashion house Perls, while afternoon tea is served.
The estate will be open for viewing the well-appointed villas and assisted living apartments currently available, while mingling with residents.
Next on the calendar is a casual and relaxed barbecue lunch to be held on Sunday, October 23, with the event starting from midday.
Guests will be able to enjoy a complimentary barbecue and refreshments while taking the opportunity, once again, to have a look around the estate and chat to the residents.
