Deniliquin police issued a 36-year-old man with a court attendance notice for negligent driving occasioning death and driving with an illicit drug present.
Police allege at 2.40am on March 24, the man, driving a Mac prime mover, collided head-on with Mr Martin’s truck.
He suffered burns and internal injuries and was later discharged from Deniliquin Hospital, while Mr Martin, aged just 27, died upon arrival.
A well-known Barnawartha truck driver, Mr Martin was remembered by hundreds at his Chiltern funeral.
The man is due to appear in court on December 6.
