Artisans, producers and North East natives come together to present a series of classes themed around the Lost Arts.
Garden State founder Louise Friend will host a Gluten-Free Shortcrust Pastry demonstration on Friday.
“There are lots of gluten-free products around but you can’t just go and easily get gluten-free pastry off the shelf,” she said.
She will host a Gluten-Free Choux Pastry workshop on October 29 and Gluten-Free Puff Pastry workshop on December 10.
All workshops will be held at The Hive Kitchen at Beechworth Honey, 87 Ford Street, from 10am until noon.
Upcoming workshops include Make Your Own Butter, Buttermilk and Cheese by Naomi Ingleton (King Valley Dairy); Beeswax Candle Making from Beechworth Honey; and Simple Fresh Ricotta Cheese by Melissa Jacka (Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Food).
