With skipper Darcy I’Anson creating havoc, the association made 184 and bundled its opponents out for 68.
The win earned it a shot at Cootamundra at Walla this weekend.
I’Anson took 6-20 with three of his scalps coming in the first over after the drinks break to effectively seal victory.
Opener David Williams said it was a good effort to reverse last year’s result against Holbrook.
“As well as Darcy bowling really well, the main thing was that our top seven batsmen all made runs,” Williams said.
“The batting was really solid and we were able to put on partnerships.
“It was a good effort.
“The side has been playing together for a few years now and it certainly helps when you can settle a team.”
Walla’s Joel Merkel topscored with 28 while I’Anson (25), Clint Ralston (23) and Mitch Koschitzke (21) also made valuable runs.
Holbrook opener Harry Perryman made 41 but lacked support with none of his teammates reaching double figures.
The other first round match between Hillston and West Wyalong was abandoned due to flooding.
If Brocklesby and District can topple Cootamundra this weekend, it will take on the winner of the clash between Yass and Tumbarumba.
“The boys are keen to do well,” he said.
“We want to get as far as we can.”
Brocklesby and District has played two rounds of their competition while Holbrook starts this weekend.
