The Hoppers will host their annual try-outs for next year’s 16 and under competition.
“We have a few girls from last season who are still eligible, so we are calling on any girls who might be interested to come along,” North A grade coach Paula Cary said.
The Hoppers carry a well-deserved reputation as one of the league’s most progressive netball outfits.
“We pride ourselves on looking to progress juniors,” coach Fiona Boyer said.
The Hoppers fell in last season’s preliminary final at 16 and under level, to eventual premier, Wangaratta.
It was another strong season for the club, playing finals in all four grades.
The sessions start this Sunday at North’s Bunton Park, from 4pm, with the remaining try-outs on the following Tuesday and Thursday, from 6pm.
Up to 30 players have attended in recent years.
Pre-season training starts early next year.
