After winning last year's inaugural Plan B Regional Bash, the newly-formed T20 team feels more like a club in its own right.
And despite a few changes in the roster, Craig says that team spirit remains.
“We really became a close-knit group, we considered ourselves to be a club in our own right in some ways,” he said.
“That's already carried over the the new group.
“The feeling is that all of us like to get stuck into things.
“When you see yourselves as best mates, when you see yourself as a bit of a club, it makes you want to play for each other a lot more.
“That attitude definitely helped us out last year.”
The defending champions face the Southern Riverina Vipers in Moama this weekend.
The club's marquee players, Tallangatta import Dilhara Lokuhettige and Albury imports Chris and Tom Sole, have slotted in nicely with the Bullets.
With all bringing experience at an international level, Craig said the trio had been called on by coach Robbie Jackson to offer their experience.
“The Sole brothers and Dilhara, they're different sorts of players,” he said.
“We haven't seen players like them in the league really.
“You can tell that they think about the game differently.
“They're first class cricketers, what they think and what they are taught are a bit different.
“’Jacko’ has been pretty keen for them to speak up and have an impact.”
The Bullets won last year's final over the Northern Inland Bolters in sensational fashion, and Craig said the team's hunger hadn't waned.
“It was such a good feeling to win last year, we want it again,” he said.
“We're not just going to lay down, we're going to go out and give it all we've got.
“It's actually been good having the two CAW matches last weekend, they've almost functioned as practice matches for the game on Sunday.
“I think we've had really great preparation, we've actually been fairly lucky with the weather.”
The full squad is as follows: Matt Armstrong, Drew Cameron, Jack Craig, Matt Crawshaw, Jarryd Hatton, Matthew Jaensch, Dilhara Lokuhettige, Josh Warren, Alex Popko, Chris Sole, Tom Sole, Cameron White.
The Bullets were big winners over the Vipers this time last season.
