The 62-57 loss to the Bendigo Braves has stung the reigning champions, Green said.
“WE were disappointed in the performance we gave last weekend, we made poor choices and lacked cohesion,” he said.
“We missed open layups a number of times early in the game – layups win basketball games.
“Looking at the tape during the week, we probably should have lost by more.
“The positive is that we didn't – we lost by five and the girls are keen to make up for it.
“We would have like to have beaten Bendigo, we should have been able to spend some time developing our lesser lights.
“The pressure is back on us a little now, those stronger players need to make it work this week.”
The Lady Wolves take on the Shepparton Lady Gators in Wodonga at 6pm, with the Wolves to follow against the Gators at 8pm.
