The retired guide dog, belonging to physiotherapist Daniel Searle, has joined the entertainment industry and will appear alongside Georgia Moorman as the main character of Annie.
The Livid Productions show is an adaption of the classic tale of a fiery young orphan girl who must live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan.
It is a family affair for vocal director Lauren Schmutter, who has both her daughter and mum in the show.
Annie will run for six sessions starting October 28, with tickets available from the box office at 525 Swift Street or (02) 6043 5610.
