Principal Christian Luck and his girlfriend and fellow Perth ballet dancer Kyla Moore were on the Border after finishing a tour of NSW and the ACT.
The pair held lessons at Murray Youth Ballet on Friday and Saturday at the request of Luck’s relative and school director, Katherine Drewe.
“The students love it, it’s brilliant,” Ms Drewe said.
“It gives them an insight into what life’s like if they want to be a dancer.
“The boys especially were really excited because they don’t get to see male dancers that often.”
Luck said he enjoyed passing on some tips to some of the school’s 200 dancers, aged from two to 17.
“It’s good for them to see what we can do and it’s good for me to teach them a little bit,” he said.
“They’re all very enthusiastic.”
