TR Register Australia, for owners of Triumph sports cars, celebrated its 40th anniversary in Albury on the weekend and the displays turned many heads at QEII Square.
Club president Russell Holliday said talks with Albury Council began 18 months ago to coincide with the Speed exhibition at Murray Art Museum Albury.
“There weren’t any people at MAMA at that stage because it was a construction site,” he said.
About 150 people attended the annual get-together.
“The club has built up into, we call it, the big register family,” Mr Holliday said. “Everyone just picks up from where they were at last time.”
