The exhibition will feature 346 entries for eight categories, including 147 in the oil/acrylic category.
Landscape artist Ern Trembath and Chris Deighton will start judging the works on Thursday morning, before the gala opening from 6pm that evening.
The event will be held at Uniting Church Hall in Rowan Street Wangaratta.
