Border-based More Than Food founders John and Lisa Gibbons hosted their first foodie tour to Beechworth at the weekend.
Mr Gibbons said 20 people from the region and further afield visited Star Lane Winery, Beechworth Berries, Bridge Road Brewery and Rising Sun Olives.
“The producers were also really happy to have gained some new customers and had the opportunity to share their story,” he said.
Mr and Mrs Gibbons began More Than Food earlier this year in response to the growing disconnect between the public and the origins of their food.
“We’re a purpose-driven company, finding interesting ways to connect people with food,” he said.
The tours visit four producers and taste food and wine at its source.
The Rutherglen Foodie Tour will visit Scion Vineyard and Winery, Renaissance Chocolates, Lake Moodemere Estate and Earthcare Farm on November 6.
