1 red onion
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp dried chilli flakes
500g premium lean minced beef
1 red capsicum
2 carrots, finely chopped
2 tbsp salt-reduced soy sauce
1/3 cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
1 lime, cut into wedges
8 large iceberg lettuce leaves
Heat fry pan and spray oil.
Add onion, ginger and garlic. Cook for 1 minute. Add chillies and minced beef. Stir fry until beef begins to brown.
Add capsicum, carrot and soy sauce, continue cooking for 3-4 minutes.
Spoon mixture into your choice of wrap.
Squeeze with lime, garnish with coriander and serve with steamed rice.
Alternatively substitute beef with either lean chicken or pork mince.
Traditionally san choi bao is served and eaten with large lettuce leaves.
