Sam and Tyson Burdon, Cody Milne, Alex Wallis and Michael Kruen all return to the club after stints with CDHBU, while Corowa-Rutherglen ruckman John Webb has also signed on.
Lions coach Brett Skinner said the club had looked to target former players over the off-season.
“We're pretty happy with how things have gone, we've based our recruiting around getting former juniors back to the club,” he said.
“We felt that we were probably the best team outside the top five in the second half of last season, so there’s an expectation that we’ll take another step next season.

“We’ve got that nice mix of experience now, finals are definitely on the agenda.
“Hopefully these guys coming in can give us that extra push we need.”
In a boost for Skinner’s on-field leadership, Sam Burdon will be a playing assistant coach, continuing the role he played with the Power.
“Sam will be really important, we don't have too many players aged 25 to 28, he'’l be important for us when things don't go our way,” Skinner said.
