Bright Alpine Builders won custom homes priced between $1 million and $2 million while a Hadar Homes house claimed its display home section.
Both projects had taken out their respective Northern Victorian regional titles in September to progress to Friday’s state final in Melbourne.
Bright Alpine Builders created an energy efficient home in Killawarra with two distinct living area wings.
It features rammed earth walls, polished concrete and stone floors and extensive use of timber.
The Hadar Homes display, the Vancouver, opened in Wodonga’s White Box Rise last year and measures more than 34 squares under roof.
It has four living areas – a separate lounge, open-plan kitchen, meals and family section, a games room and a children’s activity room.
A Toorak home by Visioneer Builders won the Victorian Home of the Year.
