Every week, we’re seeing a slight increase in water temperatures.
And every week, we’re also seeing a slight improvement in the fishing.
We are getting more and more good reports on the yellas in many areas.
And I’m a little excited, but also somewhat guarded, to say there’s been a couple of reports of a few nice reddies coming in too.
I’m cautious because for the last three or four seasons we’ve been hoping the little buggers will make a comeback.
So, I have to say that I’m a bit scared of spooking them off again. It’s the same old story, I suppose. Only time will tell.
There’s also been reports of a few Murray cod being picked up by both bait fishos from the bank and those having a troll for the yellas too.
