The GDS is the world's biggest survey on current drug users, with over 100,000 people completing the 2015 survey from over 50 countries.
The researchers hope to again tap into the habits, motivations, and experiences of the world's diverse ecosystem of drug users to explore how they use the dark net, who's taking what drugs and how much are they dosing.
The last survey ranked the top 10 drugs used across the world, identified the cannabinoids most likely to land users in the emergency room, and the alarming rise in MDMA dose concentrations.
The GDS team aims to help people and communities reduce the harm associated with drug use by sharing credible information.
