Morton, who spent time at centre half-forward in the club’s Riverina league premiership campaign this year, will move to the region for university.
The 19-year-old kicked 21 goals in 13 matches for Wagga Tigers this season
“He’s young and enthusiastic about his football and wants to test himself at the Ovens and Murray level,” Tiger co-coach Shaun Daly.
“He fits into our youth category and will provide a good tall option up forward or down back.”
Morton and Billabong Crows’ ruckman Will Haberecht have signed at Albury while Daniel Maher, Setanta o'hAilpin, Joel O’Connell and Bryce Carroll are confirmed departures.
Meanwhile, former premiership star Andy Carey has returned to Albury Sportsground as a member of the coaching staff.
The reigning premier starts pre-season training next week.
