Outgoing ADIC vice chairman Robert Poole said Mr Jelbart had been a champion in the industry.
Mr Jelbart served on various industry boards and committees and was a supplier of Murray Goulburn for 38 years – and a director since 2012.
He was director on the Australian Dairy Farmers board for seven years, a member of the Nuffield Australia Investment Committee and a board member of Marcus Oldham College.
In January he was presented with an Order of Australia medal for his services to the dairy industry and the community.
Mr Jelbart died in May after a long battle with cancer.
