THE countdown is on to a crafty Christmas.

Spotlight Albury is offering tree ornaments, festive table settings and personalised children’s stockings in the leadup to Christmas.

Store manager Sherrene Wood said the countdown to Christmas was a fun time for many creative families on the Border.

“We want to help show families how they can celebrate by creating lasting memories together,” Ms Wood said.

“Getting crafty is such a fun way to entertain the kids as well.”

Spotlight Albury will throw a children’s Christmas party on December 10 with competitions and giveaways.

"We are throwing a Christmas party for the kids with some really fun activities planned,” Ms Wood said.

“Kids can play our Santa disc toss competition to win prizes and we’ll also be doing some Christmas colouring-in and a defy gravity balloon game.

“The store will be decked with all things Christmas and our staff members are looking forward to embracing the festive spirit.”

It runs 11am until 3pm.
