In section two, Sue Carlin was the best in Glenly’s 10-game win over SPD White, with Maggie Brawn lending support.
Three of four tie-break sets went Wodonga Diamonds’ way in their battle against Uiver Park, claiming victory, five sets, 39 games to one set, 28 games.
Lynne Aylmore and Diane McAuliffe were undefeated.
Scots Black lost the first set tie-break to Forrest Hill before racing away.
Amelia McCrabb, Ali Bulle, Becky Bulle and Phoebe McCrabb all played a role.
Three sets from Jack Penny helped Forrest Hill Blues to a hard fought 5-3 victory over Albury.
Peter Murphy, Tristan Cerveny and Shane Mumberson provided strong support.
Wodonga Bushrangers, led by Steve O’Connor, took control against Forrest Hill Wombats late, claiming a 5-3 victory.
Sam Ebert, Justin Mocellin and Brett Robertson stepped up.
Forrest Hill Diggers had too much firepower for SPD, recording a straightforward 6-2 victory.
Gary and Lachlan Graetz, Neil Vandergest and Chris Wood had the answers with Phil Shanahan and Rory Parnell each claiming a singles for SPD.
Sacred Heart was never in danger against Thurgoona Sharks.
Brandon Hoffman was in outstanding touch with Brett Kohlhagen, Zac Smith and Travis Prater also contributing, while Paul Craane was the Sharks’ best.
In section three, Wodonga Pirates defeated SPD Blue by nine games, with a number of strong performers, including Craig Farrar.
