The 15-year-old posted a very composed 68 in the Lakers’ total of 153.
However, once the 65-run stand between Jordon and Zach Moore was broken with the side at 3-108, a lower-order collapse of 7-45 let Delatite back in.
The Lakers made up for their poor end to the innings by claiming two early wickets to leave Delatite at 2-24.
Yarrawonga-Mulwala veteran Pat Martin said the match is very evenly-poised at the halfway mark.
“We’ve never played there before so we didn’t really know what the par score would be,” Martin said.
Martin added Jordon is “one of the classiest juniors” he has ever seen.
“He’s super-talented and a very composed player,” he said.
In other round five matches, City Colts posted 6-218 in its top of the table encounter with Rovers United-Bruck, Greta will resume at 0-11 after bowling Benalla Bushrangers out for 212, Beechworth have set Corowa a tough task after finishing all out for 210, while Ovens Valley United has its work cut out after being restricted to 156 by Benalla-Violet Town United, but finished the day with a key wicket to leave them at 1-28.
He is one of the classiest juniors I've ever seen.
