In a changing of the guard at John Flower Oval, Jackson replaces Steve Murphy in the top position.
Murphy had one season in charge.
“It’s the next generation working through to the seniors on the board,” Jackson said.
“We think we have a really good mix.
“There are a lot of new faces and we think there are some exciting times ahead on and off the field at Wodonga.”
Wodonga’s changerooms are presently undergoing a $500,000 makeover while the Bulldogs have bolstered their playing stocks under Dean Harding.
“The council assures us of the rooms are on track for round one,” Jackson said.
Wodonga council contributed $400,000 to the project while the Victorian government supplied $100,000.
The Bulldogs take on Wangaratta Rovers in round one next season.
