A STOLEN trailer has been found partially submerged in the Murray River as police continue to investigate the theft of the four-wheel-drive towing it.

The white Nissan Patrol and trailer were taken from Lucan Street, Mulwala overnight on Tuesday and was found on fire in Wahgunyah on Wednesday morning.
The trailer was found in the river at the town on Thursday.
Police said all the tools had been removed and were yet to be located.
People are warned against buying cheap tools, whether in person or online, and police are urging people to report such incidents.
The stolen tools, which belonged to a builder, are engraved.
The car fire followed a string of similar arson attacks.
Vehicles have been torched in Wodonga, Splitters Creek, Lake Hume and Talgarno in recent days and weeks.
