Hall was beaten by major winner Jordan Spieth in a playoff.
“They’re better than the Australian Open in Sydney, kind of wish I’d been here before,” Hall laughed.
And a veteran says the players love the pro-am.

“If you turn up to a major and you saw a course in that good a condition, you’d be very happy,” Euan Walters said.
“Even the small details, like how they rake the bunkers, but the greens are as good as any you find in any Tour event.
“And the fairways are fantastic, every year we seem to be saying it’s the best it’s ever been, it just keeps getting better.”
Seventy-one professionals contested the 18-hole event.
“And I think that’s a testament to the golf course because the golf course is always good, and the guys love coming up here, so sensational conditions, can’t say any more than that,” tournament coordinator Cameron Davies said.
The $25,000 event also featured winning a Mercedes car for an ace on the 10th hole.
