The Murray: Upstream of the Hume, is still a tad high but a few cod are still getting caught, mainly on bait. Downstream of Albury the river’s been up and down a bit and that’s been reflected in catches over recent days.
There’s still reasonable numbers of yellas and smaller cod coming in but those big buggers are a bit elusive.
Streams: The streams just keep getting better, with reports that most are producing some really nice fish. Small bladed lures and little minnows, such as Pimples or Rapalas, are working well, as are scrubbies being drifted naturally downstream.
Blowering: Plenty of small reddies and the odd decent cod are being caught.
Burrinjuck: Has been quite good over the past week or so, with both cod and yellas taking Asstd lures and baits.
Eucumbene: Is well worth a try, with a few rainbows starting to show up in numbers now.
