Bohr took over Via Torrone from fellow Albury trainer Brett Cavanough in February.
She spelled for 29 weeks. before returning to the track with a ninth placing at Grafton in September.
“We went up there because the tracks were so wet in our own area,” Bohr said.
“We didn’t have a lot of work, so it was just a good opportunity, we did it last year, we went up there for three months last year and the year before.”
Via Torrone now boasts seven wins from 39 starts, with $80,000 in prizemoney.
“Of course she’s an older mare, so she hasn’t got a huge career ahead of her,” Bohr said.
“Young Lachie King rode her, and he box-seated her and just rode her perfectly.
