Moffat, the most experienced golfer of the three, has relished the opportunity for a second appearance at the event after first playing in it in 2015.
When driving for Dick Johnson Racing (DJR) on the Gold Coast, Moffat took advantage of the winter sunshine and was a regular on the golf course, but has stepped back since moving to Melbourne.
“I try to play when I can, but I’m not a member anywhere,” he said.
“When I was younger I used to do golf camps in the school holidays.
“I enjoy the game and being able to do things like this.
“It’s one of the perks of the jobs that we’re because we’re able to do stuff like this.
“The Ambrose format is always fun and we’ll have a bit of a laugh along the way.”
Mulwala Olympic shooter James Willett and two-time Brownlow Medallist Peter Moore will also be involved with the day’s festivities.
