Authority plans dam releases
WATER releases from Dartmouth Dam will rise from 300 megalitres a day to 2400 ML/day this coming weekend.

The increase will begin on Friday, forecast to reach the peak by 4pm, but then will start being reduced the next day and return to 300 ML/day by Sunday.
Murray Darling Basin Authority advised landholders and river users on the Mitta Mitta River to take these changes into account.
“This pulse in the Mitta Mitta River is to benefit the local environment,” the authority said.
