The ladder leader bowled out Kiewa for 181.
“It is one of the best bowling performances so far this year for the side,” coach Akki Murthy said.
“It was a really flat deck, there was nothing in the deck whatsoever and really thought Kiewa was going to put up a big score.”

The visitors suffered a major setback when the competition’s leading run-scorer heading into the match Sean Taylor was run out in the opening overs.
“And from then on, we actually tightened up the screws, and did not give any bad balls,” Murthy said.
“We were bowling at the stumps, they really dried up in terms of the fielding.”
The Kangaroos strangled Kiewa as it lost four early wickets.
But a century stand between Connor Davis and Jacob Barber threatened to seize the initiative from the home side.
“If they had batted another 10 overs, they could easily have made 230 runs all up,” Murthy said.
Davis finished on 71, with Barber also chipping in with a half-century.
“Because we put so much pressure on Kiewa, they had to go for the runs eventually and we knew they would go for the big shots and we were prepared for it,” Murthy said.
Medium-pacer Murthy and paceman Andrew Lockett were the beneficiaries of that pressure, snaring three wickets apiece.
If Yackandandah can post the runs, it will be in the ideal position for the minor premiership as it then faces three of the bottom teams.
“It would have a big psychological impact because if we beat Kiewa than we have beaten every top team in the comp,” Murthy said.
Elsewhere, Dederang’s Andrew Creamer fell painfully short of his century against Howlong.
Creamer struck nine boundaries and a six in his 99.
Dederang declared on 7-200, with Howlong to resume on none for eight.
Mount Beauty rolled Eskdale for 94, Jake Styles with the day’s best figures of 6-29.
The home side will resume on 3-35.
Barnawartha-Chiltern’s Anthony Hartshorn struck a half-century in his team’s total of 180, with Baranduda 1-38.
And Wodonga scored 139 against Bethanga.
