Bradford suffered a stroke a few years ago and hasn’t been able to return to the club where he’s a life member.
But the club made a special effort and the players responded.
The visitors posted 4-128 from its 35 overs, with Mitch Koschitzke posting 54.
It’s his third half-century in his last four innings.
Burrumbuttock cruised to victory, scoring 6-196.
And in the other game, Walla’s resurgence hit a hurdle.
Walla was humbled for only 59 against Rand, with Jayden Keogh top-scoring with 18.
Brayden Lieschke struck 50 and Bryce Swift 34 as the visitors charged to 9-173.
Walla had won its first game in two years the previous week.
Burrumbuttock retains its competition lead.
