Nichola Boyd was awarded first prize in the GrainGrowers annual farm photo calendar competition and also collected $1000 for the stunning picture.
“The photo was taken on our property and I had to position myself in a tricky position to get the best shot,” she said after edging out more than 120 competitors in the annual competition.
The top shot will join 11 other farm photos from across Australia in the GrainGrowers 2017 calendar.
“Regional Australia produces some amazing imagery and farmers are best-placed to capture it,” GrainGrowers general manager David McKeon said of the competition.
