Police had been trying to track down the 40-year-old man after a Lavington unit was smashed up in October.
He is accused of going into a Swift Street bottle shop about 11.45am on Thursday and verbally abusing a woman at the store, before throwing items at her.
The man was arrested by Albury police on Dean Street about four hours later.
