Three have giant inscriptions in a row that read: Melbourne, Seymour and Sydney.
One would think it is alluding to the regional train route, with a slab mentioning Albury-Wodonga yet to be laid down, which is traditionally seen as the halfway spot between the nation’s two biggest cities.
Unfortunately Mann Central’s developer David Maxwell could not be reached on Sunday to explain the shopping centre’s new look.
The $65 million project is tipped to be completed by October this year in time for Christmas.
The long-awaited development presently has on average 70 construction workers on site daily with the figure to grow to around 160 when fitout begins around April.
Its main stores will be a new Coles and Kmart when finished.
