The 23-year-old was a multiple best and fairest with the Hoppers, before joining Glenrowan last year.
“Jess is a phenomenal player,” Tigers’ coach Olivia Aughton said.
“Having played on her for a number of years I can definitely say I’m glad to have her on my team.
“Jess is super dynamic, she’s very accurate, she brings a lot of athleticism to the team, but also her multi-game is fantastic.”
The 175cm attacking spearhead is great friends with Tigers’ Justine Willis, who’s returning to the club after spending last year in Geelong with work.
It was a disruptive year for Albury, with work commitments, university and pregnancies ripping the heart out of the team which stunned the league by making the preliminary final in 2015.
The Tigers then finished second-bottom with only two wins.
Aughton and goal shooter Sarah Moore return after giving birth, while best and fairest Claire Wilson will join forces with Fisher-Curnow.
“They should be a great dynamic duo,” Aughton said.
“It wasn’t so much our attacking end I would say was lacking lustre last year, I believe we lost it in the transition from our defence into our attacking game.
“We just lost too many stable girls that knew the system and the plays that we’re known for.”
O&M netball enters its 25th season, and for much of that time Albury has failed to play finals.
That’s why it was so disappointing to fall away last year after a stunning 2015.
“I think there’s a bit of a feeling in the air at the club that this could be a bit of a year for us,” Aughton said.
The club starts its open age selections on Tuesday, January 31, and they’ll continue over each Tuesday and Thursday for two weeks.
The selections will run for 90 minutes, starting at six pm.
Meanwhile, Albury has broken with tradition by naming two male coaches.
Ian Brockett will lead B grade, while Phillip Bullivant will guide the 16 and under team.
Jenny Jones is the club’s head coach.
