A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Albury early on Tuesday morning.

Police allege the woman produced a knife and slashed the man causing a minor wound to his throat and finger just before 5am after an argument broke out between the pair.
A struggle continued between the duo, who are known to each other, however the man was able to grab the knife after the incident on Elizabeth Mitchell Drive.
The 31-year-old man drove to Albury hospital and the woman allegedly jumped from the car as it entered the hospital grounds.
The man was treated for his injuries.
The 21-year-old woman was arrested a short time later at a nearby residence.
She was taken to Albury hospital and treated for injuries and is currently assisting police with inquiries.
