Bright and Wangaratta Rovers export Ben Reid, Myrtleford product Jack Crisp, Steele Sidebottom and Jamie Elliot will be among the group of more than 30 players making the trip to Wangaratta on Tuesday.
Captain Scott Pendlebury is unlikely to attend due to his wife expecting their first child.
Collingwood’s Indigenous players will be attending a Community Camp in Tenant Creek, while the remainder of the squad are staying in Oakleigh.
As the team is not conducting a training session in Wangaratta, there will be no coaches in attendance.
Border AFL fans also have the chance to enjoy dinner that night with the players and hear from them on the eve of the season.
