The Albury Racing Club announced the 68-year-old former Sherbet frontman will headline its race meet on Friday.
“Daryl is one of this country's most beloved performers and we're excited to hear him perform his greatest hits as well as exciting newer material,” Albury Racing Club CEO John Miller said.
There's no prizes for guessing which song punters will be hanging out for on the day.
“Almost everyone knows the lyrics to the classic 1991 song The Horses and we are ecstatic that when it’s sung this year the man that made it so famous will be there to lead the rendition,” Mr Miller said.
