Police are appealing for information following an alleged armed robbery in Albury.

Just after 5am on Monday, a 55-year-old man was getting out of his vehicle on Stanley Street, when he was approached by a man.
Police have been told the man produced a firearm and demanded cash.
The 55-year-old man threw his backpack at the man and ran away, before he attended Albury police station to report the incident.
Police have searched the area and want to speak to a man who might be able to assist with their inquiries. He is described as being 180cm tall, athletic build and broad shoulders. He was last seen wearing dark tracksuit pants and a dark hooded top.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is urged to contact Albury detectives via Crime Stoppers.
