The pair covered their faces with clothing and donned gloves before reversing the Ford into the front doors of the town’s IGA.
The impact smashed over the automatic glass doors, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
Once inside, the duo ran over to the liquor department and stole bottles of Jack Daniel’s bourbon, wine and slabs of premixed drinks, which they loaded into the Ford Courier.
The business was targeted at 2.40am on Monday, with the thieves inside for only a short time.
The stolen ute was torched on Davis Drive in the Jindera Industrial Estate on the southern edge of town soon after the ram raid.
Owner Bob Mathews said 15 to 20 bottles worth about $500 had been taken.
The damage bill for the building is likely to be much higher, causing frustration for the business.
The masked offenders had targeted cigarettes at the front of the store but were unable to break into the locked cabinets.
Store manager Nicole Bulle said the business had continued to trade as usual on Monday after the damage was cleaned up.
“They did look like they knew what they were doing,” she said.
“They were after the bottles of Jack Daniel’s.
“They were taken, and there was some wine along the top shelves that was taken, then some slabs that had been on the floor.
“It’s very frustrating.”
The two men were wearing grey hoodies, black pants, black and tan gloves and had their faces covered at the time.
One can be seen wearing a white Everlast-branded hoodie.
Footage shows the vehicle smashing into a bollard, which is knocked over.
The passenger then gets out of the car and moves it to allow the ute to smash through the doors.
Mr Mathews plans to install more heavy duty bollards at the supermarket which opened in 2005.
Forensic officers examined the crime scene on Monday.
Detective Inspector Winston Woodward said detectives were investigating.
He urged anyone with information to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
