In what was a fantastic meet for a number of local trainers and drivers, Scott came away with a one-two finish in race four with Grinning Punter, winning from Magicnracing, which had her husband, John, at the reins.
It was Grinning Punter’s fifth win from 24 starts and first since May last year.
The Scott’s claimed a third place finish in the following race with Lady Warhol, while John drove a winner in the final race of the night, taking Ruby Red Sox to victory for fellow Albury trainer Chris Chant.
Burrumbuttock driver-trainer Tim Doherty was successful in race five on Glenburn Anna to take out the Carnival of Cups Pace.
North Albury’s Royce Gregory Jack steered Drunken Jeff to victory in race one, while Jindera driver Leon Hancock came away with a second place finish on the night on Boundtobemad in race three.
