The former soccer junior was recruited onto Collingwood’s rookie list at the end of last year and made the trip back with the club to Wangaratta as part of a community visit on Tuesday.
“It’s definitely good to get and spend time with all the kids in the community,” Lynch said.
“I know for sure I enjoyed this stuff and it really made me excited for the footy season.
“I’m hoping having us boys down here will have the same effect.
“I think everything is pretty focused on the game coming up, but we’ll try to give back as much as we can.”
