Brendan Lloyd and Aidan Wade attended the Australian national championship event where Lloyd refereed the under 20s, while Wade officiated the Ivor Burge tournament.
The Ivor Burge Championships is the national basketball tournament for people with an intellectual disability.
“Aidan excelled and was ranked as the top referee and appointed to the men's gold medal final, where he did an amazing job,” Albury Basketball referee development officer Bridget Lloyd said.
In order for the boys to attend these nationals, they've had years of hard work, travelling and various other nationals to attend and impress at.

“Brendan was appointed to the under 20s men's gold medal game, which is a massive achievement as he was up against some of the best referees from all over the country.
“In order for the boys to attend these nationals, they've had years of hard work, travelling and various other nationals to attend and impress at,” she added.
