Truckie, 50, driving on drug ice
A truckie has tested positive to methamphetamine on the Hume Highway after his work diary revealed he had driven more than 13 hours in the one day.

Police officers pulled over a large truck early on Thursday morning near Bowna and tested a 50-year-old man from Warilla for drugs. After returning a positive test he was brought to Albury police station where he was issued with a 24-hour prohibition from driving notice. He was fined $640 and will be further charged pending blood test results.
