I’m constantly abused for telling lies in this column by those that can’t find them.
However, it’s obviously just a matter of hitting the right spot.
All techniques are working well – just make sure you have a little plastic on top of whatever it is you’re doing to increase your catch.
Lake Blowering is fishing very similar to Lake Hume, but the average size is definitely a bit bigger.
The reddies still aren’t exactly huge.
But they’re averaging at least 3-4cm larger, which makes a drive up very appealing.
Just a pity it isn’t that one hour closer.
Murray cod are still being caught in some pretty reasonable numbers in the Murray, both above and below Lake Hume, as well as over at Mulwala.
Both lure and bait fishos are doing well.
