James Fallon, Xavier, Albury and Murray high schools will field four boys and girls sides.
Cup spokesman Adam DeMamiel said the series had taken off over the past decade.
“Rugby league has grown enormously in this area in that time in junior numbers and support,” DeMamiel said.
“You just notice the interest around the schools.
“It’s important kids are offered a range of sporting and cultural activities at school.”
Albury High’s Bronson Meehan and Liam Wiscombe, who recently represented Albury Thunder in the West Wyalong Knockout, will be among the action.
They are likely to be given first grade opportunities in Group 9 this season.
Xavier and Murray will play on Monday evening from 4.30pm, followed by James Fallon and Albury on Wednesday.
The series runs for several weeks.
