Darcy Shaw, National Buyer of Bathroomware at Beaumont Tiles said there are ways to improve your bathroom with cosmetic fixes.
Mr Shaw shares his tips on how to upgrade a bathroom:
Vanities
A new vanity can provide you with greater storage, a better colour choice and safety with soft-close drawers.
“The easiest item to replace in your bathroom is your vanity. Whether you select a freestanding or wall mounted vanity, when choosing your vanity you need to think about how much storage you want and the look and feel you want to achieve,” Mr Shaw said.
Tapware
Tapware can be the centrepiece of your bathroom, or can be chosen quite simply for its practicality.
“Taps come in so many stunning designs and colours, so you will never be short on choice.
“Elegant gold tapware or beautiful matt black tapware are fantastic alternatives to the popular stainless steel or chrome looks,” Mr Shaw said.
Hardware
Bathroom hardware includes towel racks, towel hooks and toilet paper holders.
“Replacing your bathroom hardware can be a simple way to make an improvement to your bathroom, but always remember to measure up,” Mr Shaw said.
Shower heads
Updating your shower head is an inexpensive way to add a bit of luxury and style to your bathroom.
“Shower heads can be hand-head, ceiling, massage jets and steam. Consider the space you have to work with,” Mr Shaw said.
The right mirror can also make a bathroom appear more light and spacious.
