Gavin Hach, 32, had been in custody since March 6 when police said he caused $1.5 million in damage to JJ Richards’ trucks.
Police opposed bail in Wodonga Magistrates’ Court on Thursday because the victims were in fear.
Magistrate John Murphy heard Hach had no prior offences and released him on the condition he report daily to Melbourne police.
