ALL SET: Steven Cigana has put in a huge pre-season for Cobram Roar.

Last year’s league champions Cobram Roar produced a stunning run of form in their first season in the Albury Wodonga Football Association (AWFA) competition.

This time around, the club has its sights set on going all the way to the grand final.

Coach: Adam Gatcum

Last year: League champions

Fittest player in pre-season: Steven Cigana

Key man: Bill Puckett

Gains: Sam Varley (Goulburn Valley Suns), Carlo Meola (Shepparton), Josh Koopman, Joseph Ballerini (junior promotion)

Losses: Josh Dutton-Black (NPL Sydney), Marius Williams (injury), Zach Franco

What the coach says: “We were really chuffed to win the minor premiership and be so consistent, but we came unstuck in the finals,” coach Adam Gatcum said.

What we say: Cobram Roar kicks its campaign off at home against Albury United and will look to find the consistency that saw it drop just three games during the regular season.

Prediction: 4th
